How Trading Signals Work

Our trading signals indicator combines three powerful technical analysis tools to generate buy/sell recommendations:

RSI (Relative Strength Index)

RSI measures momentum on a 0–100 scale. Readings below 30 suggest oversold conditions (potential buy), while readings above 70 suggest overbought conditions (potential sell). The 14-period RSI is the industry standard.

MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)

MACD tracks the relationship between two exponential moving averages. When the MACD line crosses above the signal line, it generates a bullish signal. A cross below produces a bearish signal.

Moving Average Crossovers

We compare price action against the 20-period and 50-period Simple Moving Averages. When price is above both SMAs and the 20 SMA is above the 50 SMA, it indicates a bullish trend alignment.

Signal Strength Scale

  • Strong Buy — All three indicators align bullish
  • Buy — Majority of indicators are bullish
  • Neutral — Mixed signals from indicators
  • Sell — Majority of indicators are bearish
  • Strong Sell — All three indicators align bearish

FAQ

What are trading signals?

Trading signals are indicators that suggest when to buy or sell a financial instrument. They are generated by analyzing technical indicators like RSI, MACD, and moving averages to identify potential trading opportunities.

How accurate are forex trading signals?

No trading signal is 100% accurate. Signals based on technical indicators provide probabilistic guidance, not guarantees. They work best when combined with fundamental analysis, proper risk management, and trading experience.

What is the best timeframe for trading signals?

It depends on your trading style. Day traders prefer 1-hour or 4-hour signals, while swing traders use daily signals. Longer timeframes generally produce more reliable signals with fewer false positives.

Can I use these signals for live trading?

These signals are for educational purposes and use simulated data. For live trading, use professional charting platforms with real market data and always apply proper risk management.

What does “Strong Buy” mean?

A “Strong Buy” signal means all three technical indicators (RSI, MACD, and Moving Averages) are aligned in a bullish direction, suggesting upward momentum.
