📍 Pivot Point Calculator

Calculate pivot points and support/resistance levels for day trading and swing trading.

How to Use the Pivot Point Calculator

  1. Enter the previous period’s High, Low, and Close — Use daily, weekly, or hourly candle data
  2. Select calculation method — Classic (most common), Woodie (gives more weight to Close), or Camarilla (tighter levels)
  3. Click Calculate — Get all support and resistance levels

Pivot Point Methods

  • Classic — The standard method, equal weight to H, L, and C
  • Woodie — Double weight on the Close price, good for trending markets
  • Camarilla — Provides 8 levels closer to price, ideal for scalping and short-term trading

Trading Strategy

  • Price above the pivot → bullish bias, look for buys at S1
  • Price below the pivot → bearish bias, look for sells at R1
  • The pivot point acts as a magnet — price often gravitates toward it
