FAQ
What is a currency strength meter?
A currency strength meter is a trading tool that measures the relative strength of major currencies against each other. It calculates the percentage change of each currency over a specific period, typically using multiple currency pairs. Traders use it to identify the strongest and weakest currencies to find the best trading opportunities.
How do you read a currency strength meter?
Look at the bar chart - longer green bars indicate a strengthening currency, while longer red bars show a weakening currency. The currencies are ranked from strongest to weakest. The top currency is the strongest, and the bottom is the weakest.
Which currency pairs should I trade based on strength?
Trade the strongest currency against the weakest. For example, if EUR is the strongest and JPY is the weakest, consider buying EUR/JPY. If USD is strongest and AUD is weakest, consider buying USD/AUD.
Is currency strength meter accurate?
Currency strength meters are accurate for showing recent price momentum, but they should be used as one tool in your trading strategy. Combine it with technical analysis, support/resistance levels, and market news for better results.
